I run a small dev shop and we’re hitting that point where in-house QA just isn’t cutting it anymore. Deadlines are tight, and frankly, testing is one of those things that we tend to push off until the end, which usually ends up biting us. I’ve been thinking about whether it’s time to outsource web testing services for QA rather than scrambling to do it internally every time.
I came across this company — Testing4Success — and their site makes it sound like they handle everything from functionality testing to cross-browser and mobile compatibility, which is exactly what we need. But I’m curious: has anyone actually worked with a service like this? Did it help your workflow? Were there any downsides you didn’t expect?
We’re not ready to hire full-time testers yet, so outsourcing might be the middle ground we need. If you’ve got any advice, recommendations, or cautionary tales, I’d appreciate it.
