Using the Tether App to Access a TP-Link Router
Permalink

Using the TP-Link Tether App is an additional practical method of getting to your router. You can simply access your router by using Tether, which is accessible on the Google Play and Apple App Stores. The app can be used to configure a new TP-Link router during first setup.

The majority (but not all) of the options on the web browser admin page are accessible inside the Tether app. However, the app offers quick and simple access to results from "HomeCare" device scans, the TP-Link Cloud, USB Sharing, guest network, and more.

While you're away from home, you may remotely reset your TP-Link router and modify a number of other settings using the Tether app.
