Balancing Defense and Offense in Age of War 2

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to find the right balance between offense and defense in age of war 2. When I focus too much on attacking, my base gets overrun. But if I defend too long, enemies evolve faster. How do you manage your age of war 2 units and age of war 2 upgrade priorities to maintain balance?
