Even if you are driving or hiking with a GPS to help you find your way, it is still a good idea to plan your trip ahead of time and look at a map to see where you need to go.

 

How to get step-by-step mapquest driving directions, show a route on the map, and figure out how far two cities are apart:

 

 

 

Enter the starting point's address or just click on the Google Map.

 

Type in the address of the place you want to go or just click on the Google Map.

 

Choose how you will get there (cycling, transit or walking)

 

Choose the unit (kilometers or miles)

 

You can pay tolls or not.

 

Click on the button that says bing maps

 

If you choose to share your location, you can use the infowindow on the map to set it as your starting point or your destination with just one click. This is a one-of-a-kind web app that lets you choose your route right on Google Map.
